I’m a Clinical Psychologist for the past 17 years, working mostly in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service. I’ve also worked with young people in care in a high support residential unit and provided adolescent forensic assessments for the courts for almost 10 years. I’m also currently President Elect of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
My main areas of interest are in anxiety, social media, policing, trauma, self-harm, and suicide and am a frequent contributor in the media on mental health and psychology matters. @psychpolis on twitter
